I’ve done a deal with the Greedy Gardener, who knows more than a tad about growing stuff. She’ll be dispensing good advice and I (Kate Cooper) will be taking it.

Will the combination of her knowledge and my obedient effort mean there will be delicious edible plants a-growing here over this summer of 2012?

If so, what about the squirrels that leap around here — will I get the tasty goodness on my table before they dig around, perhaps do a snatch and gobble? What other lurking pests, pigeons and other thieves are watching my every move?

Plus, how much will it all cost? What savings will I make in my food bill?

Will it be worth the effort?
